How It Works

Follow these simple steps to get your items on their way to Alaska!

  1. Sign our customer contract (located in our website menu.)

  2. You will receive an email with detailed shipping instructions and our warehouse address once the contract is signed.

  3. You order your items and have them sent to our warehouse. Packages should be address to “Kenai Freight/Your Name”

  4. Once your items are received at our warehouse you will receive an email invoice for your shipping charges. Invoices are due upon receipt. You will not be able to pick up items from our Kenai location until invoices are paid.

  5. Shipments sail from our Fife warehouse once a week on Wednesdays.

  6. Schedule your pickup. When your shipment arrives in Kenai we will send you a text message or an email with a link to schedule your pickup.

  7. Pickup your items within 7 days.


We like to keep it simple. Shipments that are 9lbs and under will be a flat rate of $10. Shipments 10lbs+ are $1.20/lb. Applicable taxes and fuel surcharge will apply. You will be charged for the weight of your “packaged” shipment. For example, if it is delivered on a pallet or has to be on a pallet to be moved you will be charged for the pallet. We move large/heavy items with a forklift, not by hand.

Contact us directly for pricing on oversized items (which are items that excede 8ft), hazardous items (including lithium ion batteries), delivery to your location and special business pricing.
